Should i use lotion after using a moisturizing body wash?

Ok so my skin is normal i guess, and i use dove cream oil body wash in ultra rich, so after my shower should i still apply lotion? Or if you use a moisturizing body wash do you use lotion afterwards?Should i use lotion after using a moisturizing body wash?
i have normal skin like you, not extremely dry but not oily either. if i used a moisturizing body wash i probably wouldnt put lotion on afterwards unless i noticed my skin was dry.Should i use lotion after using a moisturizing body wash?
